- “UMANG” Mobile App: The UMANG (Unified Mobile Application for New-Age Governance) mobile app is another convenient option for pensioners. It provides a user-friendly interface for submitting life certificates, making the process even more accessible.
- Doorstep Banking (DSB) Agent: Pensioners can opt for the Doorstep Banking (DSB) service to have agents come to their homes to collect their life certificates. This approach adds an extra layer of convenience, especially for those who may face challenges visiting government offices.

However, super senior citizens aged 80 and above have the privilege of submitting their life certificates from October 1, allowing for more flexibility. Despite the differing start dates, the final deadline for all pensioners remains November 30. This measure was introduced in 2019 to accommodate the unique needs of senior citizens aged 80 and above.
Consequences of Missing the Deadline
Pensioners must be vigilant about meeting the submission deadlines. If the deadline is missed, pension disbursals will be temporarily halted from the following month. However, once the life certificate is submitted, pension payments will be promptly resumed.
Life Certificate Submission for EPS Pensioners
Pensioners under the Employees’ Pension Scheme (EPS) ’95 have the flexibility to submit their life certificates at any time. These certificates will remain valid for one year from the date of submission, offering convenience and flexibility to EPS pensioners.
