How to Check EPF Balance Using UMANG App?

Prerequisites

To get started, make sure you have your Universal Account Number (UAN) and your mobile number registered with the EPFO.

Download UMANG App

Head to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Search for 'UMANG' and download the app to your device.

Register on UMANG

Open the UMANG app and complete the registration process. You can use your mobile number, 'MeriPehchan,' or Digilocker for registration.

Access EPFO Services

In the UMANG app, use the search bar and type 'EPFO.' You'll see various EPFO-related services. Select 'View Passbook' under the 'Service' section.

Choose Employee-centric Service

Under 'Employee-centric Service,' you'll be prompted to enter your UAN number. Once done, click 'Login.'

Verify with OTP

An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Enter the OTP and click 'OK' to proceed.

View EPF Passbook

After verifying the OTP, you'll be directed to a page where you can view your EPF passbook and check your EPF balance.
