It is an unincorporated entity governed as a separate entity from its owner and allows an individual to run their own business without needing to set up a separate legal entity. In order to register a sole proprietorship, the individual must have a PAN \u2013 tax identification number card, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kanakkupillai.com\/online-gst-registration\">GST registration<\/a>, depending on turnover thresholds, and local certifications such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kanakkupillai.com\/shop-establishment-license\">Shop & Establishment certification<\/a>.
