The actual deadline for filing ITRs was 30 September 2019. This relieves the burden of all the entities that haven\u2019t filed their ITRs yet.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For the past two days, there\u00a0<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">has been much debate and stressful discussion about extending the date of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kanakkupillai.com\/income-tax-return-filing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Income Tax Return filing<\/strong><em><strong>,<\/strong><\/em><\/a> and finally, the income tax department has<\/span>\u00a0extended the date.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[su_note note_color=\u201d#6aadd1\u2033 text_color=\u201d#ffffff\u201d]The CBDT said in tweet \u201cOn consideration of representations recd (received) from across the country, has decided to extend the due date for filing of ITRs & Tax Audit Reports from 30th Sep, 2019 to 31st of Oct, 2019 in respect of persons whose accounts are required to be audited,\u201d The formal notification on same will be issued soon.\u201d[\/su_note]<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Central Board of Direct Taxes is responsible for framing the policy for the income tax department. This particular category of ITR is to be registered by\u00a0<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">entities that are taxed under section 44AB of the I-T Act, such as companies, proprietorships, and partnership firms. Their accounts must be audited before<span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.kanakkupillai.com\/income-tax-return-filing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>ITR<\/strong><\/a><\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kanakkupillai.com\/income-tax-return-filing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>R filing<\/strong><\/a>.
