  • Access to monthly salary slip – Any Employees can log in and view or download salary slips for any given month.
  • Service dashboard – This provides an overall view of an employee’s service history, designation, posting history, and so on.

  • Loan and deduction information – You can view deductions for GPF, housing loan, advances, etc.

How to View or Download TN Payslip on IFHRMS Portal

Any Government employees in Tamil Nadu can access their payslip by following these steps –

Step 1. Visit the Official Portal

Firstly, Go to the IFHRMS website  –  https://www.karuvoolam.tn.gov.in

Step 2. Login to the IFHRMS Account

Click on the “Login” option. You’ll need to enter –

  • User ID – Your IFHRMS user ID, usually assigned by your department.
  • Password – The secure password set by you.
  • Enter the CAPTCHA and click “Sign In”.

Step 3. Access Payslip Section

Log in to the portal first, then navigate to “Payroll” or “Finance” tab on the dashboard. Click on “Payslip” or “Salary Slip” next.

Step 4. Select Month and Year

Select the month and year you wish to get the payslip. Click on “Submit” or “Generate”.

Step 5. Download or Print the Payslip

Once the payslip is displayed, you can print it or download it as a PDF for your records or for official purposes such as bank loans or tax submission.

Who Can View IFHRMS Payslip?

The IFHRMS system is currently accessible to –

  • Regular employees of the Tamil Nadu state government
  • Officers in departments such as police, education, PWD, revenue, etc.
  • Pensioners (for viewing pension-related financial information)
  • Accounts officers and DDOs for backend processing of payroll

It’s not accessible to contractual or outsourced employees unless added specifically to the HRMS system.

  • Service Information – GPF or CPS number, pay scale, and DDO (Drawing and Disbursing Officer) details.

  • Deductions Section – GPF/CPS contributions, Professional tax, Loan repayments (housing, festival, vehicle) and Income tax (TDS).
  • Net Payable Amount – Actual salary after deductions, paid into the employee’s bank account.
  • Bank Details – Bank name, account number (partially redacted), and payment reference.
  • Summary – A brief summary of gross earnings, gross deductions, and net salary.

Common Problems and Troubleshooting

  • Invalid login credentials – You can reset your password using the department admin or an authorized IFHRMS officer.
  • Portal downtime – The website may be slow during salary processing time. You can further try in off-peak hours.
  • Payslip not displaying – Report to your DDO or department finance officer to verify if the salary has been processed.
  • Mobile access problems – Although accessible through mobile browser, it is best on desktop/laptop for optimal functionality.
