In case the individual is a new user, she/he has to log up first by following the given procedure. To log in to the official GST page, you can use the GST login details and GST number, which are mailed to your registered email ID when your GST registration application is approved.
Once the GST registration process is completed successfully, an approval mail will be sent on the registered mail Id of the applicant that holds Username, Password, and Goods and Service Tax Number or GSTN.

Step 1: Visit the official online page of the GST Registration department: Goods & Services Tax (GST)
Step 2: Press on the ‘Login’ button that is present on the right side of the home page. Fill the tabs with your “Username” & “Password”, and also enter the correct “CAPTCHA” to log in.
Step 3: After logging in, the Dashboard will open in which you should Click on the Services tab- User Services
Step 4: Select “View Download Certificate” from the User Services dropdown.
Step 5: In this step you can view a table in which the Form Number, Form Description and Date of Issue will be shown. Now, click on download.
Step 6: That is it, now your GST registration certificate will be downloaded in your system.

GST Registration Number
The GST registration number will be provided to the individual who registered under GST Department and is also known as GSTIN. This unique number is a 15 digit number with first two digits that represent the state code, later 10 digits is the PAN number of the taxpayer, next 13th digit is the Entity number of the respective state PAN holder or taxpayer, 14th place of the GSTIN has the A “Z” by default, and in the 15th place is the Check.
Legal Name
The first row of the GST certificate will hold the legal name of the taxpayer or business holder.
Trade Name
The next row will have the trade name if there is any.
Constitution of business
This row of the certificate will display the business type of the taxpayer, as there are different types of businesses like Partnership firms, Sole proprietorships, etc.
Date of liability
This section will show the date on which the taxpayer’s application got approved or liable to registration, the effective date of GST registration is considered as the actual date of his liability.
Period of Validity
This row will show the validity period of the certificate – this row holds the start date and the end date of GST certificate validity.

Signature
