Privacy Policy

Applicable Law — India
The Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008 introduced Section 43A to the Information Technology Act, 2000, providing compensation in cases where a body corporate that possesses, deals with, or handles sensitive personal data or information in a computer resource it owns, controls, or operates is negligent in implementing and maintaining reasonable security practices and procedures, thereby causing wrongful loss or wrongful gain to any person.
In 2011, the Government of India notified the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 ('SPDI Rules'). These Rules require a body corporate to provide a privacy policy for handling personal information, including sensitive personal data. In compliance with these Rules, this Privacy Policy contains:
- Clear and easily accessible statements of our practices and policies
- The type of personal or sensitive personal data or information collected
- The purpose for collection and usage of such information
- Disclosure of information including sensitive personal data; and
- Reasonable security practices and procedures.
This Privacy Policy is published on our website and is available for review by all users who have provided personal information under a lawful contract with us.
